Bucks Animal Rescue Centre is run by Richard Potyka, Andrew Day and Karen Potyka, who in turn is supported by a number of employees and volunteers.

We have been established for 10 years taking in unwanted and mistreated animals, giving them feed and shelter and habituating them so can they be handled in their new home, If and when they are suitable for re-homing.

Our Rescue Centre tries to help as many animals, no matter the breed or species. Since we started many years ago we have taken in and successfully rehomed many animals, such as horses, donkeys, goats, pigs, boars, geese, emus, rheas, wallabies, meerkats, macaws, ducks, swans, turkeys, chickens, guinea pigs, turtles, and sheep.

Our Mission Statement

To promote humane behaviour towards animals by providing appropriate care, protection, treatment, security and re-homing for animals which are in need of care and attention by reason of sickness, maltreatment, poor circumstances or ill usage and to educate the public in matters pertaining to animal welfare in general and the prevention of cruelty and suffering among animals.

Bucks Animal Rescue Centre is a registered Charity no. 1179173.
